TWAS THE NIGHT WHEN ALL WENT CRAZY....

Last Tuesday night Lexi woke up sick.....AGAIN! Off and on for three weeks she has had a stomach ache and finally the enemy took over her body and we ended up in the hospital.

just checked in her room waiting for them to come get her all prepped ....iv pump but i didnt tell her this

daddy waiting for them to bring her back

oh goodie we have been waiting all morning for some breakfast..
clear liquids for Lexi
guess u can tell she was not thrilled at all when she saw what other item she could have with her broth
 moms food = eggs etc....
Lexi's food = toast

NOT HAPPY..
her response "No fair- Nasty" then pushes it away and will not eat anything
day two...no this is not same shirt...we have two of these from dance
she wanted a picture of her puncture wound as she calls it
she got pretty good with her iv pump..it wasn't going to keep her in the bed
they got pooped..her little friend she met who flirted with her...funny thing he was in doctors office the same time and Lexi saw him the 1st night running in the hall...same stuff we had...this nasty viral virus that has hit every child just about in our community.
student nurse checking her pump when it went off...you know how those things beep all the time

After three days stuck in the dreaded building we finally got to leave Friday night...she had lost three pounds in less than 2 1/2 wks so the doc said got to admit her....

she went back to school today with her last remark to me before leaving the house "mommy, my tummy hurts"

Oh Lexi please don't say that...I don't want it to start all over again.
Believe me she was ok...she was all gung ho after getting out of the car.

Oh, that is too bad that your baby had to go to the hospital....icky and scary all rolled into one. I am happy though that she is better and at home!! Stop over at my farm and say hi. :)

It's so hard to see our babies sick! I am so sorry she's been sick and had to go through all this. Do they really know what was causing it?? I really need to take Kelsie to the dr for her tummy. She is always complaining of a tummy ache...after every meal or drink. The dr thought she had acid reflux and has given her meds but they aren't helping her. I worry all the time the worst. Praying for your Lexi!!

Bless her heart! There is nothing worse than when you're child is sick and there isn't much you can do for them. Hope and pray that all is well now!
